About HEJİR

Every player's desk,
on their own rules.

HEJİR is gaming software that brings every mouse and every keyboard together in one light app, whatever the brand, the price, or whether it came with software at all. Its aim is simple: no player should ever have to leave their game for another window.

The story of HEJİR

HEJİR was built to be the software players spent years looking for and never found. But just like the heroes of our favourite game stories, this journey started somewhere nobody was looking: on a supermarket shelf...

2016

Mice without software

Can Kelo and his friends played every evening, but none of them had a branded mouse or keyboard. They played with cheap gear from the supermarket, and none of it came with software. To give a button another job they downloaded whatever they could find online: some of it was full of ads, some set off virus warnings, and almost none of it did what they wanted. The first question was asked back then: why is something this simple this hard?

2019

Branded gear, same problems

Over time, branded gear arrived on the desk. Can now had a branded keyboard and thought the problems were over. He gave one key a new job. In the middle of a match, the moment he pressed it, the whole keyboard went silent. His hand was still on WASD, but his character stood frozen, unable to move forward or get away. It happened every time. The maker's software was heavy, froze often and didn't meet what he needed. The expensive gear hadn't solved the cheap one's problem; it had only changed its name.

2022

The first attempt

Can decided to write the program he was looking for himself: an app that gives any key to any mouse and any keyboard. He worked on it for months. Then every file was lost, with no backup, and the project went back to zero. Most people would have stopped there. Can didn't. It wasn't an ending, it was a lesson. The reason HEJİR can back up its settings in one click today goes back to those days.

2024

Alt+Tab

One game night Can was in the same match as a friend. Music was playing on YouTube, and his friend had a single screen. To pause a song he left the game. When he came back from Alt+Tab, his character was on the ground and the team was one player short. It happened several more times that night.

That same night

F9

Can wrote a small program: press F9 and the music in the browser stops. No need to leave the game. His friend tried it the next day and never stopped using it; that first program still runs on his PC today. HEJİR's foundation, the idea of doing everything without leaving the game, was laid that night.

2025

One button, hours

The list kept growing. One night the friend hit the DPI button on top of his mouse by accident and spent hours finding his old sensitivity. Macros couldn't be set up, their timings couldn't be tuned. Every problem led to the same question: why is there no single program that does it all?

Autumn 2026

HEJİR

Can began answering every question that had piled up since 2016 in one app: key remaps, macros, scripts, crosshair and sound. HEJİR learned to recognise Logitech and Razer mice, and the cheapest mouse in the supermarket, in the same window. The first to try the mouse and keyboard pages was that same friend. His verdict was one sentence: "Many times better than my brand's software."

November 2026

Twenty languages

HEJİR began speaking twenty languages and opened to the world with its site, news and guides. The waiting list opened, and the first players began to line up.

2027

Launch

HEJİR 1.0 opens to everyone. The software once searched for, for a supermarket mouse in 2016, now exists for every mouse: every button, in every game, without ever leaving it.
