What is the difference between a dead and a stuck pixel?
A dead pixel stays black on every colour; a stuck one stays one colour (red, green or blue). Stuck pixels sometimes recover, dead ones rarely do.
Is a dead pixel covered by the warranty?
It depends on the maker's pixel policy; many allow a few. Note the position and check your monitor's warranty terms.
